How to Take a Screenshot on iPhone 15 Pro (and 16, 17)

iPhone 15 Pro Screenshot Options
Three ways to screenshot on iPhone 15 Pro: Side + Volume Up (standard), Back Tap double or triple (configure in Accessibility), or AssistiveTouch (on-screen button).
The Action Button on 15 Pro can't be configured directly for screenshots through Settings, but can trigger a Shortcut that takes a screenshot. Useful if you want a dedicated screenshot button rather than the side-volume combination.
For knowledge capture: after any screenshot, immediately decide: is this worth finding later? If yes, tap the preview thumbnail → Share → Nemos. Add a 5-second voice note with context. This 15-second habit at capture time saves the 10-minute search later.
The 15 Pro's ProRAW and ProRes features capture high-quality media that takes more storage space but doesn't affect screenshot quality or the workflow above.
