How to switch from Pocket to Nemos
- 1Pocket's export window closed on 12 November 2025, when Mozilla began deleting accounts. If you downloaded your export before then you have an HTML or CSV file; if you did not, the data is gone and cannot be recovered
- 2Download Nemos free from the App Store — iPhone or iPad on iOS 17 or later
- 3Open the Connectors screen in Nemos, tap Import, and pick the Pocket file
- 4Nemos brings in every saved link with the title and URL from the file
- 5Because the title and URL come from your file rather than the live page, links whose pages have since gone offline still land in your library
Who should use what?
Choose Pocket if
Nobody, now. The question worth answering is what Pocket was good at, so you can tell whether a replacement has to match it: a genuinely excellent distraction-free reader, and saving an article in one tap from anywhere. If that is all you used, almost anything replaces it. If you also had screenshots in Photos, voice notes in another app and PDFs in Files, the gap Pocket left is wider than an article reader.
