How to Screenshot on iPhone Without Pressing Buttons
By Taha Baalla··5 min read
Three Button-Free Screenshot Methods
- AssistiveTouch: Settings → Accessibility → Touch → AssistiveTouch → on-screen floating button → Screenshot. Permanent on-screen button, tap anytime.
- Back Tap: Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap → Double Tap or Triple Tap → Screenshot. Tap the back of the iPhone (not a button) to screenshot.
- Siri: "Take a screenshot" — works with or without voice, no button press required.
- Voice Control: Settings → Accessibility → Voice Control → enables hands-free operation including screenshots.
For knowledge workers who screenshot frequently: Back Tap is the cleanest solution — invisible, no on-screen UI, muscle memory develops quickly. Configure double-tap as screenshot, triple-tap as open Nemos to create a two-gesture capture workflow: double-tap to screenshot, triple-tap to open Nemos for the share.
