Built-In PDF Editing on iPhone
iOS Files app + Markup handles light PDF editing: add text boxes, signatures, shapes, and drawings. For most use cases (signing documents, adding notes, filling forms), no app is needed.
For editing existing text in a PDF: iOS can't do this natively. PDF text editing requires third-party apps: PDF Expert (paid, best quality), Adobe Acrobat (free with limitations), or online tools like ilovepdf.com.
After editing: share the final PDF to Nemos with context. "Marcus contract draft with my revisions — version 3, sent 2026-03-20." The edited version is permanently findable alongside all related captures.
The common mistake: editing a PDF and saving it with a generic name like "document (1).pdf" in Files. The name is meaningless in 6 months. Context at save time — a voice note or descriptive Nemos tag — solves this permanently.

Where Nemos fits
