How to Dictate a Note on Apple Watch (Without Looking)
By Taha Baalla··5 min read
Watch Dictation Options
Apple Watch offers three dictation paths: Siri ("Hey Siri, create a note..."), Scribble (finger writing on display), and dictation via compatible apps with Watch apps.
Siri dictation creates a note in Apple Notes automatically. Fast but creates a separate note each time — these accumulate without context.
Nemos Watch app: tap the complication, speak your note. Saves to Nemos library on iPhone. Better for users who already use Nemos as their primary capture system — Watch captures land alongside all other captures, not in a separate Notes folder.
For hands-free situations: Watch dictation via Siri or Nemos is the only viable option. Running, cycling, and driving are the primary use cases where Watch capture beats iPhone capture.
