How to Record a Meeting on iPhone (Zoom, Teams, Webex)

Legal and Ethical Considerations First
Recording a meeting without consent is illegal in many jurisdictions. In the United States: one-party consent states allow recording if you're a participant. Two-party (all-party) consent states require everyone's agreement. California, Massachusetts, Washington, and others are all-party consent.
For legal recording: inform all participants before recording. Verbal consent at the start of a recording is generally sufficient.
Technical options: Voice Memos runs in the background during meetings. Nemos captures voice in-app; for background recording during phone calls or video meetings, Voice Memos or a dedicated recording app is needed.
Post-meeting: capture a 60-second summary voice note in Nemos immediately after. Decisions, commitments, next steps — captured while fresh. This is more actionable than a full meeting recording that requires playback to extract information.
