How to Stitch Multiple iPhone Screenshots Into One

When Stitching Makes Sense (and When It Doesn't)
Screenshot stitching (Picsew, LongShot, or built-in iOS Full Page in Safari) creates a single tall image from multiple screenshots. Useful for sharing a conversation, showing a complete webpage, or documenting a long form.
The drawback for knowledge capture: a stitched 3000px-tall image is hard to reference later. You can't search inside it. OCR on very tall images is less reliable.
Better for knowledge: capture the key section only. Screenshot precisely what's useful, not the entire thread. Add context via voice note. One small contextual capture is more useful than one large de-contextualized scroll.
When to stitch: sharing with someone else who needs to see the full context (evidence screenshots, design reviews, approval chains). When to not stitch: personal knowledge capture for your own future reference.
