How to Send a Screenshot as a PDF (Not an Image) on iPhone

Screenshot → PDF Conversion
iOS converts screenshots to PDF through the print dialog: screenshot → Share → Print → pinch out on the preview → share the resulting PDF. This is a quick way to get a screenshot into PDF format for email or document workflows.
Alternative: Markup on screenshots allows export as PDF directly via the Share Sheet in some contexts. The Shortcuts app can also automate "Convert Image to PDF" actions.
For knowledge capture: whether the capture is a JPEG screenshot or a PDF rarely matters. What matters is the context attached to it. Share the screenshot to Nemos as-is (JPEG) with a voice note — the OCR still indexes all text in the image.
Converting to PDF before sharing externally makes sense for professional contexts (contract pages, formal documentation). For personal reference capture, the format is irrelevant.

Where Nemos fits
Nemos is a private second brain for iPhone that solves the "I saved it somewhere" problem. Every screenshot, voice memo, PDF, and link you save gets OCR'd, transcribed, and indexed on-device using Apple Foundation Models. Find anything by typing one word. Free. Apple-only. Free on the App Store.
