How to Share Your iPhone Screen with Anyone in 2026

By ··5 min read

Sharing your iPhone screen: FaceTime SharePlay (share screen during a FaceTime call), AirPlay to an Apple TV or compatible display, or using third-party apps for cross-platform screen sharing (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet).

FaceTime SharePlay (Best for 1:1 and Group Calls)

During a FaceTime call: tap the Share Content button > Share My Screen. The other person sees your iPhone screen in real time. Works over cellular and Wi-Fi.

Best for: showing someone how to use an app, getting help from a family member, collaborative review.

Sharing iPhone Screen in Zoom, Teams, Google Meet

In Zoom on iPhone: tap Share Content > Screen > Start Broadcast. Standard iOS screen recording broadcast to the call participants.

In Teams and Google Meet: same process. Both apps support native iOS screen sharing.

AirPlay to a Display

iPhone > Control Center > Screen Mirroring > select AirPlay-compatible receiver. Mirrors to TV or display. Best for presentations in a conference room or at home.

For Teaching and Presentations

Share your Nemos workflow, Apple Notes capture technique, or iOS 26 features during a screen share. The audience sees exactly what you see on iPhone.

Privacy Before Sharing

Before sharing: close any sensitive apps or notifications, disable notification previews (Settings > Notifications > Show Previews > Never). Especially important if sharing your lock screen or home screen.

Screen Sharing as a Documentation Tool

Beyond live calls, iPhone screen recording combined with Nemos creates useful async documentation.

Record a screen walkthrough (Control Center → Screen Record), then share the video via Nemos. Add a voice note explaining what's being shown. Now you have a timestamped record of a process, workflow, or issue — shareable with colleagues asynchronously.

Use case: bug documentation. Screen-record the issue occurring, capture it in Nemos with a voice note describing context and reproduction steps. This is cleaner than a Loom for quick technical reports to engineering teams — no account required, entirely on-device.

Native iOS steps are offline-first. Third-party app behavior depends on the app — any cloud dependency is flagged explicitly.
