How to Save Just the Article (No Ads) from Safari on iPhone

Clip vs Save: The Key Distinction
"Clipping" an article means saving the clean text content — no ads, paywalls stripped, just the article. Safari Reader View (tap the A icon in the address bar) shows cleaned article text.
To clip: Safari Reader View → Share → Nemos. The Share Sheet captures the page URL and title. For the full article text: use defuddle (if available) or screenshot specific sections.
The better workflow for knowledge work: don't clip the full article. Skim in Safari, screenshot the 2-3 sections that are actually valuable, and capture to Nemos with a voice note. Full article clips are usually never re-read. Key insight captures are searchable and get used.
For articles behind paywalls you have access to: screenshot the content while logged in. Nemos stores the screenshot on-device — your access is preserved in your capture regardless of what happens to the paywall or your subscription.

Where Nemos fits
Nemos is a private second brain for iPhone that solves the "I saved it somewhere" problem. Every screenshot, voice memo, PDF, and link you save gets OCR'd, transcribed, and indexed on-device using Apple Foundation Models. Find anything by typing one word. Free. Apple-only. Free on the App Store.
