We believe your digital memory should be private, automatic, and effortless. Némos exists because every other knowledge management tool asks you to do the organizing — build databases, create tags, maintain folder hierarchies. We think AI should do that work for you, and it should happen entirely on your device.

Why Independent?
Némos is founder-funded — no venture capital, no pressure to monetize your data, no incentive to add tracking or ads. When you don't answer to investors, you can make decisions that are genuinely best for users: on-device AI instead of cloud processing, a generous free tier instead of paywalled basics, and a business model based on premium features rather than data extraction.
Privacy Architecture
Every AI feature in Némos — auto-naming, OCR, voice transcription, Smart Spaces, document chat — runs locally on your iPhone using Apple's Foundation Models API. Your memos never leave your device except to sync between your own Apple devices through iCloud. We architecturally cannot see, read, or sell your content. This isn't a policy choice — it's a technical guarantee.
